1. EFFECT OFSOWING DATE, PLANT SPACING AND TREATMENT WITH BIO HEALTH WSGON GROWTH AND YIELD OF KHELLA (AMMI VISNAGA (L.) LAM.)
by Essam H.A. Al Doghachi and Samira A. K. Matroad
Abstract

The present study was conducted during the growing season of 2012/2013 and 2013 /2014 in medicinal and aromatic plants field of the College of Agriculture/ Basrah University, to study the effect of sowing date 1/10, 20/10, plant spacing 20, 30 or 40 cm and treatment with Bio Health WSG and lack of treatment, and their interaction on growth, yield and aromatic oil of getter seeds Ammi visnaga (L.) Lam plant Locally and Syrian. The results showed Cultivated plants on 1/10 had a significant in plant height, the number of main branches.plant-1, the leaves number.plant-1, the percentage for dry substance, the total number of inflorescences.Plant-1,  the total sum of seed.plant-1 (47.3and 47.3g), the weight of 1000 fruits, the productivity seed of per hectare (5.9 and 6.0 tons), percentage of oil (16.29and 16.44 %), oil yield per plant(7.78and 8.29 g), the productivity of oil per hectare (93.5and 98.6Kg) for both seasons.

Cultivated  plants at 20 cm  had a significant in the plant height, productivity fruits of per hectare (5.5 and 5.6 tons), the productivity of oil per hectare (65.7and 71.9 kg) for both seasons. However, plants cultivated at 40 cm also had a significant in the number of main branches.plant-1, the leaves number.plant-1, the percentage for dry substance, the total number of inflorescences.Plant-1, the total sum of seed.plant-1 (35.7and 37.5g), the weight of 1000 fruits, percentage of oil (16.66and 16.57%), oil yield per plant(6.53and 7.13g), for both seasons. Treated plants with Bio Health WSG gave significant the plant height, the number of main branches.plant-1, the leaves number.plant-1, the percentage for dry substance, the total number of inflorescences. Plant-1, the total sum of seed.plant-1 (35.8 and 36.9g), the weight of 1000 fruits, the productivity seed of per hectare (4.4 and 4.6tons), percentage of oil (14.46and 14.59%), oil yield per plant(5.72and 6.23g), the productivity of oil per hectare (67.1and 73.6Kg) for both seasons. The Interactions between the study factors, showed a significant effect in all studied parameters.

2. CREDIT RISK MODEL: THE CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK OF SME FINANCING

by Siti Norbaya Yahaya, Nusaibah Mansor & Mohd Hafiz Bakar

Abstract

Forecasting of small and medium enterprise (SME) loan default is very crucial and widely studied as it gives a significant impact on SME ‘s finance in decision-making process. This study proposes to define and construct SME’s credit risk model in SME financing process by financial provider (FP) in Malaysia. The first part of this paper discussed about financial tools used to measure SME’s financial performance. The measurement is considered from different aspect in order to give more accurate result. The extent of existing literature about the framework of the model using both financial and non-financial factors (FNF) are explained in the second part of this paper. The used of these factors will give a huge picture on evaluation SME’s performance for effective risk management initiative. The last section analyzing the important of prudent credit risk model by FP in assisting them to operate with low cost and low non-performing loan (NPL).

3. PREDICTING LONG-TERM BOX OFFICE PERFORMANCE OF MOVIES USING SOCIAL MEDIA AND ITS COMPARISON WITH TRADITIONAL SURVEY METHODS
by Hossien L. Najafi & Darryl W. Miller
Abstract

Recently, social media content has gained popularity as a viable resource for gauging consumers’ intention to buy goods and services. For example, Twitter has been used with promising results by many researchers for predicting box-office returns for motion pictures. Alternatively and for many years, purchase intention (a type of behavioral intention (BI)) has been used for predicting likely levels of demand for new products, successfully measured through traditional surveying methods. This paper investigates how use of social media compares with the traditional surveying tools. Specifically, tweets about the movie are collected during the same period as surveys regarding intention to see a movie are administered. Traditional BI measures are compared with various measures of tweeting activity to gauge how well each correlates with domestic and international performance of a movie. The results show that the two methods are very comparable.  The results also demonstrate that the rate and length of tweets are good predictors of a movie’s long-term success.

4. EULER-LAGRANGIAN EQUATIONS WITH KÄHLER-EINSTEIN METRIC AND EQUAL KÄHLER ANGLES ON FANO MANIFOLDS

by Zeki Kasap

Abstract

It is well-known that a classical field theory deals with the general idea of a quantity and it is a function of time and space. Classical field theory interested in classical mechanics. Classical mechanics explains the motion style of object with Euler-Lagrange equations. It is well-known that a classical field theory explain the study of how one or more physical .elds interact with matter which is used quantum and classical mechanics of physics branches. This manuscript set forth an attempt to introduce Lagrangian formalism for mechanical systems using with Kähler-Einstein metrics on Fano manifolds which represent an interesting multidisciplinary field of research. In this study, we will obtain the geodesic equations of moving objects on Fano manifolds. As a result of this study, partial differential equations will be obtained for movement of objects in space and solutions of these equations will be made using the Maple computation program. In addition to, the geometrical-physical results related to on Kähler-Einstein mechanical systems are also given.
