1. OUTLIER DECTION IN FUZZY LINEAR REGRESSION ABOUT PREDICYING GDP GROWTH
by Xu Jialu & Lu Qiujun
Abstract

The accuracy of regression model may have some warp when the observation data set exists outlier. We study to lessen the outlier effect in predicting GDP growth on the basis of fuzzy linear regression model in this paper. The result is effectively verified the performance of the model.

2. NEW EXACT SOLUTIONS FOR THE DSSH EQUATIONS

by Shujiang Ding & Qinghua Feng

Abstract

In this paper, we derive exact traveling wave solutions of the DSSH equation by a proposed Bernoulli sub-ODE  method and the (G’/G) expansion method. The two methods appears to be efficient in seeking exact solutions of nonlinear equations.

3. SOME ASPECTS ON THE REPRODUCTIVE BIOLOGY OF GREATER FORKBEARD PHYCIS BLENNOIDES (BRÜNNICH, 1768) IN WESTERN ALGERIAN COASTS (OSTEICHTHYES, GADIDAE)
by Sofiane Med el Amine Benghali, Salim Mouffok, Ali Kherraz & Zitouni Boutiba
Abstract

The aim of this work was to study the annual reproductive cycle of Great forkbeard (Phycis blennoides, Brünnich, 1768) through analysis and description of some physiological index. A sample of 225 females was captured between January 2012 and December 2012 from the Western coast of Algeria, from Mostaganem. Fish length and weight varied between 17.60-37.80 cm and 38.33-403.03 g, respectively.

Condition factors (K), gonadosomatic index (G.S.I.) and hepatosomatic index (H.S.I.) were calculated monthly.

Sex ratio of males to females was 1:0.91. The estimated length where 50% of analyzed individuals were sexually mature was 24.73 cm for females. The peak value of gonad somatic index was recorded in September and continued throughout the October, indicating the highest spawning activity when the Kn values are low.

4. THE INFLUENCE OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION ON ECONOMIC GROWTH UNDER THE TECHNICAL PROGRESS DIRECTION
by He Qiong-feng & Ai Ke-feng
Abstract

The development of a country must be supported by energy. According to the direction of technical progress, the paper applies a nest CES production function to explore how the energy consumption influences the economic growth. The parameters in model are estimated by using a normalized supply-side system approach and a feasible generalized nonlinear least squares (FGNLS). As industry is an important production sector in Chinese economy, and simultaneously is a main sector of energy consumption, industry is selected as an example to be studied. We collect the relevant data of industry from 1994 to 2011, and give an empirical analysis. The conclusion is that technical progress is biased towards energy, i.e. in the production process, the income share of energy has a increasing trend. And also, we can achieve that energy have an increasing positive impact on the economy, for the output elasticity of energy is growing yearly.

5. COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREM FOR FINITE NUMBER OF WEAKLY COMPATIBLE MAPPINGS IN QUASI-GAUGE SPACE
by Arihant Jain, V.K. Gupta & Dhansingh Bamniya
Abstract

The present paper deals with the common fixed point theorem for finite number of weak compatible mappings in Quasi- gauge space. By pointing out the fact that the continuity of any mapping for the existence of the fixed point is not necessary, we improve the result of Rao and Murthy.
